Valentine’s Day is coming up and we want to make sure everyone has some chocolate. By chocolate, we mean the kind that comes ink stout and porter form, of course. We’ve come up with two great places to enjoy some chocolate brews.
In Boulder, check out Boulder Brewing Company (2880 Wilderness Place, Boulder, CO 80301). They’ve been crafting fun since 1979. Grab some great pub food and pair it with their full bodied Shake Chocolate Porter! This brew is dark black in color with rich, sweet aromatics and flavors of dark chocolate, coffee and caramel.
For Ft. Collins, we suggest Ft. Collin’s Brewery (1020 Lincoln Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524). This would be a great place to enjoy some Valentine’s grub and try the Chocolate Stout. A velvety smooth mouthfeel, satisfyingly roasty flavor and medium body make this brew positively seductive. Chocolate malts round off the taste.
